The Iraqi Aero Federation is a specialized, non-governmental and Non-profit organization tasked with the management and promotion of aero sports events, as well as the support of Iraqi athletes
The Federation collaborates with official entities in Iraq and internationally to ensure adherence to both local and international regulations and standards
The Iraqi Air Federation was established in 1979
The headquarters of the Iraqi Aero Federation is situated in Baghdad Iraq. The Federation operates under the auspices of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sport and is an integral member of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq. Furthermore, it maintains affiliation with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAi)
